As a teacher, building relationships with my students is my top priority. Maya Angelou's quote, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel," deeply resonates with me. I take pride in creating a safe and welcoming environment where all students feel comfortable expressing themselves and have ownership in the space and their learning.
With 18 years of practice rooted in Ashtanga/Hatha yoga, my classes incorporate playful sequencing and an amazing soundtrack. I've taught yoga in a variety of unconventional settings - hallways, swimming pools, loading docks, gyms, parks, beaches, and traditional yoga studios - with class sizes ranging from a single student to as many as 200. Regardless of the location or number of students, I always prioritize building relationships and creating an exceptional student experience.
Teaching has been my lifelong passion, and I feel incredibly fortunate to be able to help others through my work as a teacher.
